About PMI-SFBAC
PMI-SFBAC is a non-profit professional association representing over 3,000 members across the Bay Area. Celebrating 50 years of impact, the Chapter delivers programs and events that elevate the practice of project management and support member success across industries.
Role Overview
As the public face of the Chapter, the CEO leads a team of 50–70 volunteers across marketing, finance, IT, membership, and events. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO ensures strategic alignment, operational excellence, and sustainable chapter growth within a Policy Governance framework.
The position requires an estimated 10–20 volunteer hours per week.

Who We’re Looking For
You are a confident, strategic communicator with strong organizational and leadership skills. You’ve managed distributed teams, built programs, or led initiatives in project or operations management. A PMP or ACP certification and active or planned membership in PMI-SFBAC are required.
