Chapter Volunteer Spotlights
Turning Passion into Purpose

When Sabrina joined the Sustainability Team, she brought an immediate enthusiasm for connecting project managers with nonprofit and community initiatives. Recognizing the desire among members to use their expertise for social impact, she launched PMs for Good in March 2026.
The initiative was created as a collaborative space where project management professionals can come together to learn, share ideas, and explore ways to support nonprofit organizations through proven project management practices.
Building a Community for Social Impact
Since its launch, PMs for Good has quickly become a growing community within the chapter. Sabrina has successfully hosted two events, with additional sessions planned on a bimonthly basis.
To make the program as accessible as possible, she partnered with another organization to provide an in-person meeting space while also offering virtual participation options. This hybrid approach allows more members to engage regardless of their location while fostering meaningful collaboration.
Leading Beyond the Chapter
Professionally, Sabrina is a Senior Project Manager at GLIDE, where she leads cross-functional initiatives that advance community services. She brings more than 15 years of project management experience across the private, nonprofit, and higher education sectors.
Her commitment to service extends well beyond PMISFBAC. Sabrina serves as Executive Vice President of the Junior League of San Francisco, Marketing & Public Outreach Chair for the Southern California Philharmonic, and Commissioner on the San Francisco Juvenile Justice Commission. She is also an incoming member of the Leadership San Francisco Fall Cohort Class of 2027.
Throughout each of these roles, Sabrina remains focused on one goal: leveraging project management to create sustainable, cross-sector community impact.
Living the PMI Values
Sabrina's contributions reflect the values that make the PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter strong. Through collaboration, accessibility, and a commitment to giving back, she has created an initiative that not only strengthens member engagement but also extends the chapter's impact into the broader community.
Her leadership demonstrates how project management can be used not only to deliver successful projects, but also to build stronger communities and create lasting positive change.
Thank You, Sabrina
We are grateful for Sabrina's dedication to the Sustainability Team and for bringing PMs for Good to life. Her leadership has created new opportunities for members to connect, collaborate, and use their skills to make a meaningful impact.
Thank you, Sabrina, for your passion, service, and continued commitment to our chapter and the communities we serve.
