🌳 Earth's Greatest Enemy Documentary Screening and Discussion

Business Acumen

🌳 Earth's Greatest Enemy Documentary Screening and Discussion • April 2026

This session features a community screening of Earth’s Greatest Enemy, a documentary that explores the relationship between modern military activity and global environmental challenges. The film presents research, interviews, and case studies that highlight how large-scale defense operations intersect with issues such as resource use, emissions, and long‑term sustainability.

Following the screening, there will be a guided conversation with the director where participants can share observations, ask questions, and consider the documentary’s themes from a variety of professional and personal perspectives. The discussion will focus on constructive dialogue.

🎯 What You Will Learn

  • Analyze the role of large institutions in shaping environmental, economic, and geopolitical systems—and connect these dynamics to enterprise environmental factors that influence projects and programs.
  • Evaluate macro-level risks such as environmental change, regulation, and geopolitics, and understand how they impact organizational strategy, long-term planning, and portfolio decisions.
  • Recognize how policy and regulatory environments influence project feasibility, governance expectations, and organizational accountability.
  • Assess the ethical dimensions of decision-making and understand how responsible stewardship supports sustainable, long-term value delivery.
  • Apply systems thinking to identify interdependencies across environmental, social, and organizational domains when planning and executing initiatives.

This session supports several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including:
