🌳 Scaling Impact: How PMs Help Nonprofits Grow Without Breaking

🌟 Event Overview

Following a successful kickoff this Spring, PMs for Good returns for its second in-person meetup—this time with a focused, interactive workshop on program management and scaling in nonprofit environments.

PMs for Good is a community for project managers who are involved in—or curious about—social enterprise, nonprofits, and volunteer-driven work. This session builds on insights from our inaugural gathering and continues the conversation on how PMs can support mission-driven organizations more effectively.

Join us in San Francisco for a hands-on workshop:
Scaling Impact: How PMs Help Nonprofits Grow Without Breaking.

Participants will engage in a real-world case scenario to explore how nonprofit programs expand, where scaling efforts often break down, and how PMs can apply practical frameworks to support sustainable growth.

🎯 What You Will Learn

  • Identify common challenges when nonprofit programs scale
  • Apply project management frameworks to assess readiness for growth
  • Diagnose operational gaps in staffing, processes, and infrastructure
  • Define practical first steps to support program expansion
  • Connect with a community of PMs focused on impact-driven work

🧠 Workshop Experience

This is not a passive session. Expect a hands-on, interactive workshop where you will:

  • Work through a real-world nonprofit scaling scenario
  • Collaborate with other attendees
  • Apply frameworks in real time
  • Walk away with actionable insights you can use immediately
