Description

Advanced Certified ScrumMaster training gives you a practical set of tools, feedback on your communication and facilitation skills, and techniques for guiding and evolving your Agile teams. Attendees will practice a host of advanced personal and group facilitation exercises that will reinvigorate your leadership approach and take your team’s performance to the next level.

 

Using real-world examples from attendees and coaches, this class applies a unique blend of proven Agile coaching techniques, applied improvisation, and other experiential techniques to improve your skills in mentoring, teaching, and facilitating while remaining flexible and confident as a leader.

About the Speaker

 

Julie Chickering

 

Julie Chickering embodies the ideal of the servant leader. Beginning her career as a support agent at Sabre which was part of American Airlines and filled various other roles within development teams. She joined one of the company’s first Agile pilot programs and quickly became hooked on the power of agility to transform businesses. Completing her Scrum Master certification in 2005, just a few years later she was back at American Airlines — this time as Enterprise Agile Consultant. Today, she is an expert enterprise coach, in-demand Scrum trainer and Agile thought leader. Her story inspires course attendees in every class she teaches, and Julie is passionate about opening her students’ eyes to the possibilities of a future in Agile, no matter their current role.

Paid Events

Registrations for paid events are non-refundable once completed unless explicitly mentioned on the event card above. We encourage participants to confirm availability prior to registering.

If the Chapter cancels or reschedules a paid event, registered participants will be notified and provided with available options, which may include a refund or transfer at the Chapter’s discretion.

Participants who do not attend a registered paid event (“no-shows”) are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.

 

Free Events

We understand that plans may change. If you are unable to attend a free event, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration in advance whenever possible. This allows others the opportunity to participate and helps our volunteers plan more effectively.
