PMI-SFBAC Annual General Meeting
SF Bay Area Chapter Members and Guests,
Please join us for our chapter's 2024 Annual General Meeting, which will be happening on Thursday, September 12th, at 6:00pm PT, both in person at Golden Gate University, in San Francisco, and online via Zoom.
We will hear updates on chapter strategy, programs, and finances from our board of directors and operations leadership. Also, we’ll have a keynote presentation on maximizing the effectiveness of your organization’s PMO, from Jennifer Forward, PMO Director at Everlaw. (See details below.)\
AGENDA:
5:30 – Networking and a Light Dinner (in-person only)
6:00 – Updates on SF-BAC chapter from the Chapter President, CEO and Treasurer.
6:45 – Fun, games and trivia
7:00 – Keynote Presentation with Jennifer Forward
7:30 – Conclusion
This presentation examines how to maximize the impact of project management teams in an ever-changing world. It explores strategies for navigating challenges such as remote work and organizational downsizing, while also recognizing opportunities like AI and other technologies to amplify the team’s work and drive velocity. Attendees will gain insights on optimizing performance, overcoming obstacles, and making a positive impact in a dynamic and unpredictable environment.
Speaker Info:
Jennifer Forward
Jennifer has held several project management and PMO leadership positions at organizations including Sun Microsystems, Oracle, and Facebook, and is currently the Director of Project Management at Everlaw. She holds PMP and PROSCI certifications, and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition to volunteering for PMI-SF's mentorship program, she has volunteered for several community organizations in Livermore, CA.

Paid Events
Registrations for paid events are non-refundable once completed unless explicitly mentioned on the event card above. We encourage participants to confirm availability prior to registering.
If the Chapter cancels or reschedules a paid event, registered participants will be notified and provided with available options, which may include a refund or transfer at the Chapter’s discretion.
Participants who do not attend a registered paid event (“no-shows”) are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
Free Events
We understand that plans may change. If you are unable to attend a free event, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration in advance whenever possible. This allows others the opportunity to participate and helps our volunteers plan more effectively.
