Description

Today's project manager needs to negotiate in high stakes, high pressure situations. If you manage high dollar projects, expensive disputes, increasing operational costs, or difficult customer issues, this course will cover the data-driven negotiation approach and skills to get you winning outcomes - improve your financial position, close deals, settle claims, complete acquisitions, and sustain your business.

Negotiation starts before you sit down with your counterpart. This course will increase your confidence and negotiation proficiency as you identify your project risk areas, create a favorable environment, perform CPA-level analysis skills, and bargain to win. You will learn to open discussions, find your counterpart's why, ask "what/how" questions, use time to your advantage, and avoid time-consuming emotional tactics.

Taught by a 28-year, 2x cancer survivor who embodies "failure is not an option," be inspired and learn how to negotiate to win. All taught by an experienced negotiator and trainer who has saved well into nine figures in the "real world" for companies just like yours.

Rick Czaplewski

Rick Czaplewski is the President of No One Walks Alone, which provides negotiation and leadership training to executives and project managers. Rick specializes in teaching and simplifying the negotiation skills needed to handle complicated sales transactions, adversarial dispute resolution, extensive procurement contracts, and challenging M&A. He has taught hundreds of negotiators in North America and Asia. Prior to founding No One Walks Alone, Rick served in several leadership roles in the financial, high tech, construction, and water industries. He has worked for KPMG, Hewlett Packard, Siemens, and Xylem and most recently served as Senior Director of Operations. Rick's teams have saved more than $50 million in negotiated cost savings and dispute cost avoidance. Rick earned a BBA in Accounting at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire where he was the first person to pass the CPA exam while a student. He earned an MBA from the University of Wisconsin Madison. Rick is a 28-year, 2x cancer survivor who shares his vulnerable, inspirational story with audiences all over the world. He is excited to bring this to you. Rick wrote the acclaimed book, Better Dirty Than Done, about his experience with cancer and as a member of the National Speakers Association, he is as entertaining as can be.
