Event Description-
|
The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy supports over 30 national park sites (80,000 acres) north and south of the Golden Gate with a diverse array of programs and projects. Their mission is to preserve the Golden Gate National Parks, enhance the experiences of park visitors, and build a community dedicated to conserving the parks for the future. Participants will directly contribute to GGNPC's Ocean Beach Weekend Cleanup project. This work will improve wildlife habitat not only locally, but ultimately, globally. We will beautify, protect, and preserve the treasured cultural and ecological resource, Ocean Beach. We’ll be working rain or shine. Please be prepared to get dirty and dress in layers for various weather conditions. MUNI Bus lines 5 and 18 will take you within five minutes walk of Ocean Beach Stairwell 17. Parking is available at Ocean Beach. |
