Delivered by Scrum Alliance Certified Trainers (CSTs), this two-day course will teach you the “business” skills and techniques used by successful Scrum Product Owners to guide their teams and build winning products at Agile speed while creating customer delight. This Certified Scrum Product Owner®️ introduction focuses on how effective product ownership drives clarity, alignment, and customer value within Scrum teams. This interactive, experiential course is suited for all levels of Scrum experience. Our course curriculum sets the standard for Product Owner know-how, drawing on our inventive exercises, case-studies and real-world experience of implementing Scrum across industries, including energy, finance, healthcare, defense and technology. With a Scrum Product Owner certification (CSPO), you will be able to fulfill the role of Product Owner on a Scrum team. |
🧠 What you'll learn
Participants will learn the core responsibilities of the Product Owner, including setting a clear product vision, managing the Product Backlog, and making evidence-based prioritization decisions.
The session explores how techniques such as user stories, value slicing, and incremental delivery help teams validate assumptions and deliver outcomes that matter to customers and stakeholders.
We’ll also discuss how the Product Owner partners with the ScrumMaster and Development Team, and how product ownership practices can complement existing planning and governance approaches, making the concepts especially relevant to those who currently manage projects or lead initiatives.
By the end of the session, participants will have a practical understanding of how the Product Owner role supports transparency, focus, and value-driven decision making, along with tools they can begin applying right away to improve alignment between strategy, delivery, and stakeholder expectations.

Certified Classes Refund / Transfer Policy
For our regular certified classes, a 90% refund will be issued for requests made at least 14 days in advance of the scheduled class start time. For cancellations made with less than 14 days’ notice, we will allow a one-time courtesy transfer into the next available course. Any additional transfer requests will result in a $100 transfer fee. All refund/transfer requests must be emailed to info@hyperdriveagile.com.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur that interfere with your class attendance. Attendees must contact info@hyperdriveagile.com within 48 hours of the class start time to reschedule if they are unable to attend. Registration will be considered surrendered if no notice is received within the 48-hour window.
General Events Refund & Cancellation Policy
Paid Events
Registrations for paid events are non-refundable once completed unless explicitly mentioned on the event card above. We encourage participants to confirm availability prior to registering.
If the Chapter cancels or reschedules a paid event, registered participants will be notified and provided with available options, which may include a refund or transfer at the Chapter’s discretion.
Participants who do not attend a registered paid event (“no-shows”) are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
Free Events
We understand that plans may change. If you are unable to attend a free event, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration in advance whenever possible. This allows others the opportunity to participate and helps our volunteers plan more effectively.
