Dr. Nimal Errol Wirasinghe
Dr. Errol Wirasinghe, developer of the XpertUS Decision Support System (software), is the author of books on decision-making and Negotiating. He has trained several Fortune 500 companies and is also an adjunct professor at the University of Houston’s MBA program.
Dr. Wirasinghe has published papers on topics relating to Management and has carved out a niche as a “decision-maker” using analytics, to shatter traditional myths of decision-making.
Prof. Errol Wirasinghe (based in San Jose, CA, USA) is the ONLY person in the world that offers training in “Analytical Decision-making”. He has conducted many seminars for industry professionals and academics.
His early experience was as a Blacksmith, and a Welder, at age 16, and then left Sri Lanka in 1967, to study in the UK. He graduated as Valedictorian from the Teesside University, the U.K. in Mechanical Engineering. He then went on to obtain his Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics, from the CITY
Univ. in London. His professional career spans many disciplines: Oil & Gas Engineer, Research Scientist, University Professor, Management Consultant, and Director of a Public Utility. He also owned several retail stores and founded a leasing company, and a procurement company. He has lived, worked and trained professionals in Asia, Mid-East, Europe, North America, and South America, working for Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., Petroleos de Venezuela, British Gas, Enron Corp., and the University of Zulia, where he lectured in Spanish.
