EVENT DESCRIPTION:

As project managers, our goal is to deliver the right-quality service to our customers. The Kanban Method’s values of transparency, balance, collaboration, customer focus, flow, leadership, agreement, and respect are synergistic to our values as project managers. In this workshop, we will explore Kanban’s principles and practices from a project manager’s lens.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Bill Dominguez is a senior consultant, coach, and trainer with Valueinnova LLC. Bill is a subject matter expert in the areas of value innovation, solution identification, program management, team building, organizational alignment, and removing the ‘dis’ from diseased ecosystems. Bill has helped over 20 companies from startups to Fortune 10 recognize value opportunities and has built and led transformations, high-performance sales, marketing, development, professional services, and customer service organizations that deliver consistently high quality and value. An early champion and practitioner of lean-agile methods made him the go-to person to meet and deliver quality results when business risks were at stake. Innovator Bill co-developed and implemented the first Customer Information System used in financial institutions for tellers to provide customer service and up-selling; joined Quesix as a founding team member where we developed and implemented the first Electronic Medical Records system in The Bay Area (sold to McKesson) and partnered with Digital, supporting early telemedicine prototypes, and with Xerox PARC’s early adoption of visual artifacts, glyphs, nano-technology, digital paper, etc. as one of 30 Xerox’s global Integrated Document Solutions Managers chartered with changing Xerox from the “copier” company to “The Document Company” Bill holds the following certifications: PMP, CSM, Kanban Methodologist, Innovation Games Facilitator, Master Results and Performance Coach, Presentation Skills Coach, Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner and Lean-Agile Project Management.

If you have made a reservation and find that you will be unable to attend, please send an email to vpprofdev@pmisfbac.org and cancel your ticket as early as possible.  All cancellations are subject to a minimum $30.00 fee if done at least 10 days before the event.  Cancellations after July 17, 2019, are subject to full charge to ensure the Chapter does not incur excessive expenses.
