Description:

How about some good news for a change? Here it is: we can reverse global warming. The solution is called “Regenerative Agriculture” and the film Kiss the Ground presents the research, practice, and hope we need to move forward. Regenerative Agriculture can: revive farmer prosperity, reduce flooding & drought, replenish fresh water sources, reduce fire hazards, reverse global warming, recreate regional access to nutrient-dense food, reduce toxic pesticides & fertilizers, reduce dead zones & water pollution, reverse extinction, and reconnect humanity & nature.

You will watch the film Kiss the Ground on your own time and then join us for a post screening discussion on April 21st. You must attend the post screening discussion to earn the PDUs.

The registration fee is a donation we are collecting for community service project materials. If you are facing financial hardship, please reach out to vpsustainability@pmisfbac.org for a fee waiver.

Event Structure

Part 1: Participants will receive the live screening link immediately after registration and will watch the film anytime before the post screening discussion.
Part 2: We will meet up on Zoom on April 21, 2021 at 5:15 pm PDT for the post screening discussion.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy:

If you have made a reservation and find that you will be unable to attend, please send an email to sustainabilitydirector@pmisfbac.org to cancel your ticket as early as possible. All cancellations are subject to a minimum $15.00 fee if done at least 3 days before the event. Cancellations after the event starts are subject to full charge to ensure the Chapter does not incur excessive expenses. You may also offer your seat to another student.
