Join the PMI-SFBAC Sustainability Team as we partner with Mobilize Love for a powerful community outreach event serving families across San Francisco.
Love the City is a city-wide celebration that brings together families from all Mobilize Love sites for a joyful day of connection, free resources, and holiday cheer. Volunteers from across the Bay Area gather to meet practical needs, serve shoulder-to-shoulder, and show love to our community.
🕒 Volunteer Shifts (Choose One)
Volunteers will serve one 4.5-hour shift:
- Shift A: 10:30 AM
- Shift B: 2:00 PM

- Registration & Welcome Team
- Creative Corner (face paint, balloon animals, crafts)

Registrants do not need to register separately on the Love the City site. PMI-SFBAC will provide the full list of volunteers to Mobilize Love.
📝 Mobilize Love Volunteer Waiver (Required)
By registering for this event, volunteers agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
- I understand that volunteering may involve risks of injury or illness. I release Mobilize Love, its partners, and representatives from all liability.
2. No Compensation or Insurance
- I acknowledge that Mobilize Love does not provide compensation, medical, or disability insurance.
3. Photo & Media Release
- I authorize Mobilize Love to use photos, video, or audio of me for promotional purposes.
4. Legal Intent
- I agree this waiver is valid to the fullest extent of applicable law.
Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
General Events Refund & Cancellation Policy
Paid Events
Registrations for paid events are non-refundable once completed unless explicitly mentioned on the event card above. We encourage participants to confirm availability prior to registering.
If the Chapter cancels or reschedules a paid event, registered participants will be notified and provided with available options, which may include a refund or transfer at the Chapter’s discretion.
Participants who do not attend a registered paid event (“no-shows”) are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
Free Events
We understand that plans may change. If you are unable to attend a free event, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration in advance whenever possible. This allows others the opportunity to participate and helps our volunteers plan more effectively.
