Course Description

When it comes to leading projects, it’s important to understand the people involved, the emotions, motivations and goals, to guide teams through complexities, challenges, and risks and deliver successful projects. In this workshop, we’ll dive into understanding the core motivations and expectations of the people who surround your project, so that you have stronger project alignment and deliver stronger outcomes.

Event Agenda:

  • The steps to identifying stakeholders, level setting expectations, and building a strong communication plan
  • How to build and communicate a strong narrative for your project’s purpose to drive motivation and outcomes.

Targeted Audience:

Project Managers, Program Managers, Product Managers, and Business Leaders who sponsor projects, work on projects, or lead projects.

Colleen Graneto

Colleen Graneto is a product coach, partnering with people and companies to improve how they build products with practical, proven strategies. Over her 15+ year career, she’s built product and business strategy and led teams at Airbnb, Procter & Gamble, CME Group, and various smaller startups, and launched her own Etsy shop with artisans she met while living in Ecuador. Colleen also serves as a coach and instructor at UC Berkeley Executive Education, Maryland Institute College of Art, and General Assembly.

Paid Events

Registrations for paid events are non-refundable once completed unless explicitly mentioned on the event card above. We encourage participants to confirm availability prior to registering.

If the Chapter cancels or reschedules a paid event, registered participants will be notified and provided with available options, which may include a refund or transfer at the Chapter’s discretion.

Participants who do not attend a registered paid event (“no-shows”) are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.

 

Free Events

We understand that plans may change. If you are unable to attend a free event, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration in advance whenever possible. This allows others the opportunity to participate and helps our volunteers plan more effectively.
