Finally, Katie will touch on finding your voice and articulating your areas of expertise, building your network with intention, and selling your vision.
The goal of this session is for participants to walk away feeling more empowered to sell themselves and their ideas authentically, whether that's in their career search, or their current role.
Katie is the founder of Serious Moonlight Consulting. A sales & marketing leader helping tech and retail companies achieve sustainable growth. After leaving big tech (15 years at Google as a Head of Sales), she has been able to help a variety of startups, retailers and individuals untangle and demystify their sales and marketing processes.
Katie has been a featured speaker for @Google Talks, Wonder Women Tech, and Innovation Women. THE BOARD and Fortune have featured her writing and expertise. She is currently on the advisory board for Wonder Women Tech and UCSB’s Women in Leadership program. Katie is known for her unique blend of creative and analytical thinking. She loves to teach people that sales is not a dirty word. In her former life in Big Tech, she has interviewed over 400 would-be Googlers and helped launch Google’s Playa Vista Office.
