Quality PMO for Sustainability
Course Description |
As a for-purpose organization, PMI is dedicated to enabling changemakers to elevate their positive impact on society.
PMI Volunteers believe that protecting the planet and improving the lives of people worldwide is essential for creating peace and prosperity. Parallel to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the US Green Building Council has developed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system for sustainable building. Utilizing the Quality Project Management Office Methodology, Project Management Professionals (PMPs) act as the champions in ensuring implementation of LEED sustainability strategies in achieving solutions and decision-makings that optimize the balance of the three Ps: Planet, People, and Profit.
A Quality PMO is where Professional Managers gather as changemakers to ensure system thinking by early engagement of key stakeholders in a psychologically safe environment. Holistic Design Thinking for optimized performance and lifecycle approach is creatively achieved through inclusion of team’s strength diversity and integration of quality culture mindset of mindful and compassionate leaders that promote true team collaboration.
Quality PMO consulting will train and coach emerging Professional Managers to be socially responsible, consider the impact of their decisions on sustainability, and drive LEED strategies to improve their communities.
