🎙️ ScopeMasters - A Toastmasters Club

ScopeMasters, a Toastmasters Club for PMI-SFBAC Members, is a place where you develop and grow, both personally and professionally.
Project Managers are expected to communicate effectively and efficiently to a multitude of audiences.
By following the Toastmasters model to improve your communication, you’ll be more persuasive and self-assured when giving presentations and improve your one-on-one communication with others.
This session is designed to move beyond theory and into how risk is actually identified, owned, accepted, and managed in complex project environments.
📍 What to Expect
Our club welcomes all members looking to increase their skills, and in particular, if you are interested in
- Project/Program Management,
- Business Analysis / Product Ownership,
- Organizational Change Management,
- Improving your communication skills, and
- Building and growing your professional network.
Each session typically comprises 3-4 speeches, such that, in any given month, you would hear speeches from 6-8 different members.
🔎 Highlights
Our meetings will provide an opportunity for you to:
- Meet the ScopeMasters 20+ members
- Give prepared and impromptu speeches
- Develop leadership potential
- Give and receive constructive evaluations
- Organize and facilitate meetings
- Earn 1.5 PDUs/CDUs per meeting for PMI/IIBA certification holders
To be effective change leaders, we must use these skills every day.
What better place to sharpen skills in a safe, supportive environment of your peers and give yourself that extra polish!?
The format encourages dialogue, shared experiences, and applied learning rather than passive listening.
