St. Mary’s Center is a community of hope, healing and justice dedicated to improving the well-being of Seniors and Preschool Families in West Oakland by meeting basic needs for food, housing, and social connection.
We build on a strong foundation of direct service provision with participant-led advocacy that amplifies the voices of people directly impacted by hunger, homelessness, and inequity, to create a more just and caring society.
Today St. Mary’s Center offers comprehensive social and community services in five locations. We’re proud to have been a part of the giving and receiving that volunteers and participants share over a meal, and to offer a path to hope, justice and healing for all.
Volunteers will work on a myriad of outdoor projects, including (but not limited to) structural painting, gardening, and donation sorting; stewardship activities weather pending.

| About the Speakers |
Isolde Honore
Isolde Honoré (she/her) is the Operations Supervisor for St. Mary’s Center. A Bay Area native with a background in education, she has long history of community-driven service in non-profit administration in the Bay Area. Additionally, she produces events for Odd Salon SF, and occasionally dabbles as an artist and writer.
General Events Refund & Cancellation Policy
Paid Events
Registrations for paid events are non-refundable once completed unless explicitly mentioned on the event card above. We encourage participants to confirm availability prior to registering.
If the Chapter cancels or reschedules a paid event, registered participants will be notified and provided with available options, which may include a refund or transfer at the Chapter’s discretion.
Participants who do not attend a registered paid event (“no-shows”) are not eligible for a refund, credit, or transfer.
Free Events
We understand that plans may change. If you are unable to attend a free event, we kindly ask that you cancel your registration in advance whenever possible. This allows others the opportunity to participate and helps our volunteers plan more effectively.
