Description

Most often we hear of agile being used in engineering or technical organizations, but are there other functions and teams that lead projects where agile can help? Join this session with Colleen to discuss the benefits of adopting agile for non-technical teams and functions, such as marketing, sales, operations, finance, and customer support. We'll also cover some best practices for leading agile transformations within these teams and functions in order to realize those benefits and improve project delivery.

Target audience: 

Project Managers, Program Managers, and Business Leaders who work with or lead other teams beyond product and engineering, such as marketing, sales, operations, customer support, supply chain planning, HR, finance, etc.

Colleen Graneto

Colleen's worked with B2B, B2C, and platform products over the last 15 years, including the last 6+ at Airbnb, giving her a unique understanding of what is necessary to launch products that resonate with users, and of how to bring those products to market quickly. Colleen also teaches and coaches on product management and agile at both General Assembly and UC Berkeley Executive Education, sharing her experience in building strong product and business strategy, storytelling, and decision making.
