Description: Anyone can attend the Military Round Table, even if you do not have military experience. The purpose of the Military Round Table is to connect the military community of the Bay Area who have interest in Project Management (PM) certifications and careers with PM professionals and military veteran advocates within the chapter. We define the “military community” as those who presently serve on active, guard, and reserve duty, veterans, retired and military spouses of all military branches, including the Coast Guard, and Department of Defense.  The Military Round Table is typically conducted in a webinar format on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. Once a quarter, the Military Round Table is held in a  simultaneous in-person and webinar format. The March 2019 Military Round Table is proudly held just outside the gate of U.S. Coast Guard Base Alameda and via a webinar for those unable to attend in person. Please write “attend in-person” or “webinar” only in the special instructions and comments section of the registration form to indicate your meeting participation method.

PDUs: Military Roundtable meetings qualify for a maximum of 1.0 PDU under the Leadership category. Note, PMP certification holders are required to provide evidence supporting their reported professional learning, which may include a log of discussions with notes and dates.
