The responsibilities of the newly elected Board Members are essential to the functioning of our chapter.

As the President, Jay Ashford will lead the chapter and oversee the implementation of the chapter's strategic plan, in partnership with fellow board members, the chapter's CEO, and the Operations team.

Mary Ann Michaels, in partnership with the CFO, will oversee the chapter's finances as Treasurer, ensuring that our financial resources are effectively allocated to meet our goals.

As Secretary, Sandra Mitchell will maintain records, manage correspondence, and facilitate communication within the board and with the broader membership.

The four Director-at-Large positions filled by Jeff Cadieux, Mona Mahmoud, Nancy Chin Lam, and Paolo Cassinari are crucial to ensuring the success of the chapter's various programs and initiatives.

Jeff Cadieux, as a founding member of ScopeMasters, brings experience as a recognized mentor and leader to the board.

Mona Mahmoud has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, and her background as an IT Project Manager in the Oil and Gas industry will be invaluable to the chapter.

Nancy Chin Lam, a former PMI SFBAC Marketing Director and COO, has a deep understanding of the chapter's programs and their unique needs.

Paolo Cassinari's commitment and dedication to the chapter are well-known, having played a key role in organizing the Annual General Meeting in 2020.

The votes of our members are crucial to the success of our chapter. It is through
your participation and engagement that we can fulfill our mission and achieve our goals. We are grateful to all those who took the time to vote in this year's election, and we encourage everyone to get involved in our chapter's activities.

As we welcome the new Board, we would like to express our gratitude to the outgoing board members, Lorena De Benedittis, Timothy Bombosch, Roxanne Arriaza, and Raymond Chang. Their dedication and hard work have contributed significantly to the success of PMI SFBAC. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Finally, I would like to thank all the volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the smooth running of the elections and handover, especially Nirali Patidar, Director at Large and Chair of our Nomination Committee who organized and lead the elections process masterfully, and Carin Kaltschmidt VP of the Next Generation Leaders program who supported the nomination process on behalf of the Ops team. Your commitment and expertise are invaluable to the chapter's success.

We encourage all our members to visit our website (www.pmisfbac.org), where you can find information about our by-laws, policies, and chapter Leadership profiles.

Finally, if you are interested in contributing your time and skills to the chapter, please do not hesitate to contact us. The PMI SFBAC chapter is fortunate to have a dynamic and capable leadership team in place. With the newly elected Board Members and our dedicated volunteers, we are poised to tackle the challenges of 2023 and beyond. Together, we can make a difference and continue to drive the PMI SFBAC forward.

Yours truly,

Arjun Petapermal, Eng., MBA, MDI
