Our PMI San Francisco Bay Area Chapter is revolutionizing Project Management practices by energizing the next generation of leaders to develop and become changemakers in their career. We provide professionals and students unique experiences to expand their knowledge, capabilities and professional network in a fun, collaborative and community environment.
Next Gen Leaders Program
Our Next Gen Leaders program offers experiential learnings and hosts design and development innovation events. We connect people to advance their Project and Product Management skills through learning by doing in a team-based approach.
We serve to influence and engage emergent professionals to explore a project and product management career within an inclusive teaming environment. Teams will design solutions, interact with diverse talent, share experiences, utilize technology tools and participate in hands-on opportunities within a scope-specific, time-boxed approach.

The PMI SFBA Chapter will host a virtual creative and immersive learning event for participants to showcase their talents in a project and product development challenge for a chance to win awards judged by industry panelists.
- Participants will form teams that include students and professionals seeking career development opportunities
- Coaches and judge panelists include experienced professionals across industries
- Teams will be guided and mentored by industry specialists, where they collaborate and create real-life solutions in user experience, data analytics, and product apps development
- Teams gain access to innovative technology environments and collaboration tools that enable a memorable and unique experience for participants to explore and learn
Let’s Jam – Key Dates
The event will kick off a 5 weeks program with a cohort of teams that will design and prototype their solution based on real-business requirements and scenarios. Teams will present their ideas live to judges during the Let’s Jam competition. One team will be awarded the Let’s Jam Grand Prix and get the chance to turn their idea into reality.
