Academic Outreach
Overview
Our Academic Outreach program works with local universities and colleges that have demonstrated an interest in foundational project management tools, methodologies, and practices. We pursue three areas of focus:
- Partnership
- Our strong alliances with Golden Gate University, Hult University and Solano County College motivate us to scale up, which is leading us to potential partnerships in 2025 with San Francisco State University, San Jose State University and Berkeley University.
- We believe in building professional community and we are advocates of empowering professionals by providing exchange of wisdom through experiential learning and mentorship.
- Success of our Mentorship program examplifies PMI's mission of "Lead the Leaders" as well as Next Generation Leader program showcase PMI's mission of "Inspiring youth to achieve their goals, making dream a reality."
