About the Speakers:

Gul Dusi-Project Director at Linesight
Gul is the US West Coast Life Sciences lead for Linesight, and is a highly experienced Project Director with 20 years’ construction industry experience and wide-ranging, deep expertise in the pharmaceutical sector. Prior to joining Linesight in 2020, she held the position of Head of Design and Construction for Global Supply Chain (Manufacturing) at Edward Lifesciences, delivering complex programs across the US, Central America and Europe. Gul is a results-driven expert in her field, who champions a collaborative approach to problem-solving and delivering optimum outcomes. She has particular expertise in the medical device space, as well as biomanufacturing, and has most recently delivered a cutting-edge immunotherapy development facility on the East Coast.

Mandakini (Mandy) Sharma-Head Of Project Management at LonzaMandy started her career as a Process Scientist at Genentech in 2004 after a short stint at stem cell research at Stanford labs. She holds a master’s degree in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, followed by a Master’s degree in Genetics from Rutgers Medical School UMDNJ, New Jersey. After more than a decade of managing development projects, she got an opportunity to lead clinical programs in a cross-functional Project management role at Boehringer Ingelheim, Fremont, in 2016, where she also set up the Project Management group within the Quality Control division. She is currently the head of Program Management at Lonza Biologics.

Janet Wendorf-Senior Director Project Engineering at BayerJanet Wendorf leads the Project Engineering group at the Berkeley, CA site of Bayer. In her current role, she has responsibility for project engineering and management as well as the Biotech investment management portfolio.
She has had various engineering and scientific roles at Bayer and other life sciences companies, including roles in Commissioning & Qualification, strategic project planning, Manufacturing Sciences, and process engineering.She has more than 15 years of experience and holds a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from UC Berkeley and a BS in chemical engineering from the University of Dayton (OH).

Crissy Tevis-Director TOPS Project Management at BiomarinMrs. Tevis has over 25 years of experience helping specialty chemical, industrial, high-tech, beverage, and biopharmaceutical companies realize the strategic and business benefits gained from the successful project and portfolio management.
Mrs. Tevis currently leads the Technical Operations Portfolio Management Office at BioMarin. Prior to joining BioMarin, she helped her consulting clients with planning and executing critical projects where time to market, achieving a launch date, or being ready for a major global event was essential to their business operations and strategic goals.

With experience in cell and gene therapy, medical device, biopharmaceuticals, and now biosimilars, Dani’s team mindset, focus on collaboration, and Tech Ops coordination fuels her mission to help orchestrate and bring much-needed medicines to patients efficiently.Trained in Exotic Animal Training and Management, Biology, Stem Cells, Youth Professional Soccer Coaching, and a Project Management Professional Dani developed a set of best practices to enhance knowledge sharing for coordinating cross-functional partners and leadership, managing project risk, and evaluating success – concepts that work equally well with animals, soccer teams, and program teams.
